Non-urgent advice: General practitioner registrars
When you contact the surgery for an appointment you may be offered an appointment with one of our registrar doctors.
Wordsley Green Surgery is a registered training practice for doctors who wish to become GPs.
A registrar is a fully qualified doctor who already has a great deal of experience practising medicine. If they wish to become a GP they are required to spend a period of time, usually 6-12 months, based in a training GP practice.
They are fully supported by a doctor based at this practice.

Non-urgent advice: Extended healthcare team
Many GP practices now include a range of health professionals who can diagnose and treat health conditions. This ensures that you see the right person at the right time.
If it is most appropriate for you to see a doctor, you will be offered an appointment with a GP. However, the GP isn’t always the best person for you to see.
