Core Hours

The practice is open from 8.00am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday at Wordsley Green.  During this time our reception area and telephones are manned to enable you to access our services either by calling at the surgery or by telephone.

Extended Hours Surgery

To provide greater access for our patients, Wordsley Green Health Centre offers appointments outside of the core hours above. These are:

Monday evening from 6.30pm
Tuesday morning (first bookable at 7.25am)
Tuesday evening from 6.30pm
Wednesday morning from 7.25am
Thursday evening from 6.30pm last bookable at 7.00pm

Information Regarding Extended Access

In the Kingswinford, Amblecote & Brierley Hill (KAB) area practices are working in partnership to provide additional GP appointments. If you need access to an evening or weekend non-urgent appointment, please call and speak to the receptionist at your registered practice during normal opening hours. 

Your appointment may be with another practice in the area and may not be at your registered practice.

Out Of Hours

(The Out of Hours service is commissioned by Dudley Clinical Commissioning Group [Dudley CCG], Brierley Hill Health & Social Care Centre, Venture Way, Brierley Hill, DY5 1RU.)

The surgery is closed as follows:
Monday to Friday 6.30pm until 8.00am (the following morning)
Friday 6.30pm until 8.00am Monday morning
All public holidays.

If you need to see a doctor in an emergency out of hours, please telephone 111.
If you think your condition is life-threatening or very serious, please telephone 999.

NHS Emergency Treatment Centre

Many medical conditions and minor accidents can often be treated adequately in an NHS Emergency Treatment Centre Centre and the nearest such facility is located at Russells Hall Hospital and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. No appointment is necessary - just walk in!

NHS 111

This is a free to call, single non-emergency number to call when it's less urgent than 999. It is a 24 hour, 7 days a week service.
